Watertight Sliding Doors, Watertight doors
An extensive range of watertight bulkhead doors is available. A distinction is made between hinged watertight doors and
sliding watertight doors. Designs are class approved and our doors are fully built according SOLAS rules. Each door leaves our factory with an individual class test certificate.
Hinged watertight doors
The watertight hinged doors are part of our Q-line standardised door program. In its standard execution the doors are
designed to withstand an admissible water pressure of 12 mWc from both sides.
Watertight sliding doors
We design and manufacture watertight sliding doors in full compliance with the IMO/SOLAS regulations. We offer a proven
design of a compact door and frame assembly with a very simple and reliable control system.

Condor Q-line electric watertight sliding door
The fully electric watertight sliding door CONDOR is our new type of compact door. It is supplied as a completely finished as tested unit, ready for welding in. It combines the well known proven mechanical design of the doors, in standard sizes, with a standardized electrical drive system. This means there are less options but it turns out to be a cost saver for the yard without compromising on quality.
The design and manufacture of CONDOR doors are in full compliance with the IMO/SOLAS safety regulations for cargo ships and passenger ships to fulfil the watertight integrity of the vessel and is type approved by all major classification societies. |
Albatros Q-line watertight sliding door
The electro-hydraulic watertight sliding door ALBATROS is a new type of compact door. It is supplied as a completely finished and tesed unit, ready for welding in. It combines the well known proven mechanical design of the doors, in standard sizes, with a standardized and simplified hydraulic and electrical system. This means there are less options but it turns out to be a cost saver for the yard without compromising on quality.
The design and manufacture of ALBATROS doors are in full compliance with the IMO/SOLAS safety regulations for passenger ships and MOU (mobile offshore units) to fulfil the watertight integrity of the vessel and is type approved by all major classification societies. |

Seagull Q-line watertight sliding door
The hand-hydraulic watertight sliding door SEAGULL is our most basic
version of watertight sliding door. It is supplied as a completely finished and
tested unit, ready for welding in. It combines the well known proven
mechanical design of the doors, in standard sizes, with a standardized and
simplified hydraulic and electrical system. This means there are less options
but is turns out to be a cost saver for the yard without compromising on
quality.

The design and manufacture of SEAGULL doors are in full compliance with
the IMO/SOLAS safety regulations regarding cargo vessels (reg 25-9) to fulfil
the watertight integrity of the vessel and is type approved by all major
classification societies.
Musketeer system
Our quick acting doors are equipped with the patented Musketeer® mechanism. The main advantages of the Musketeer system are:
- Ultra-light operation, i.e. a force transmission of 1:33
- All closing points are adjustable
- Self braking mechanism (clips cannot vibrate loose)
- Fully self-greasing mechanism, maintenance free
- Only one feed-through (handle)
- Stainless steel 316 (L) central closing mechanism with quick acting handle.
Tank vent check valves

By using the Winel tank vent check valves you have the advantage of a solid, maintenance free and fully automatic operating system, supported by a service network of agents and stockists worldwide
Winel produces valves for over 40 years and holds type approvals from all major classification societies. Our tank vent check valves can be used on any type of commercially used vessel, yacht, navy vessel and offshore platform. Winel valves are fully automatic and require virtually no maintenance. Available with nominal diameters up to 450 mm, they are supplied with either flange or butt-weld end, and can be fitted with flame screens as required. Although custom designs are available upon request, the main styles can be found in the datasheets. |
